CPDS wants to equip your child and family with the tools and skills needed to navigate this ever-changing world. With the teachings of Jesus as a guide, we make a customized teaching plan for each child that ensures his or her academic, spiritual, and personal needs are met.
CPDS is nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Chandler, AZ, with easy access to the 101 and 202 freeways. From garden beds to our sanctuary, to a playground, CPDS integrates into our campus, creating a whole village to explore.
Learning at Chandler Presbyterian Day School goes way beyond the classroom. We provide music lessons, worship, gardening, and plenty of movement and exercise. We believe that by working with families and the community, and by customizing each child’s educational plan, we can raise confident and adaptable leaders.
CPDS follows the teachings of Jesus and invites families of all faiths and backgrounds to join in, including at our Wednesday chapel and Sunday worship. CPDS offers service opportunities to show our students the power of kindness and giving. We also provide ways for parents to get involved in their children’s lessons.
We encourage productive, healthy behavior by guiding students consistently and by leading students to reflect on the consequences of their actions. Our teachers model their expectations and maintain healthy boundaries. By working with each child and his or her family, we adjust to the unique socio-emotional needs of each child.
We create opportunities for children to learn by doing, solving problems collaboratively and on many levels. Throughout a semester, our students document their learning milestones and then present them in final presentations to their families and friends.
